At a first glance all this page looks like is a bunch of random pictures. To be truthful, I didn’t even realize each picture had a connected link until after 20 minutes of looking at it. But before I had realized each picture lead to a different site, I started to analyze each picture to see if there was another meaning. I began to see that each picture itself was related in the sense that they all had something to do with literacy.
According to the Dictionary online, they defined composition as the combing of distinct parts or elements to form a whole, or the manner in which such parts are combined or related. This type of artwork can be considered composition. This website was a picture made of pictures, but yet had an external link and meaning. In other words, this was a composition of artistic words jumbled together to get a bigger picture. I feel that this was a great way to compose a composition. It was clever the way it was set up, and I very much enjoyed this. Although I'm still confused as to what each link means, I found this composition to be very clever in it's organization.
Firstly, I love the title it made me laugh. Anyways, composition... well Courtney nailed it. We have the same brain. I wasn’t confused though; as soon as I saw it I knew what it was. You asked of if it was a composition, yes. Is it more artistic then expected? Yes. Is it creative and more interactive then assumed? Yes and that does not mean it’s not literature. Literature is writing, being able to read correlates with literature, but the process of learning isn’t wrapped in the definition. No matter how you “sell” it or how you learn it, writing, reading, comprehending all amounts to literacy. The pictures and the links are a lot of fun, even though I do not understand really what the links were about or for, they still formed a composition, a fun one.
