Looking at it from Another Perspective

At first it was hard to think of “outrageous” communities, without being cliché. My train of thought had immediately gone to the communities we had already explored, like sports teams, high school friends, fraternities, etc. After reading the prompt about “Toddlers and Tiaras,” for some strange reason the idea of Harry Potter and Twilight came into mind. The idea to explore the world and community of “Witches and Warlocks,” and Vampires would be interesting. Maybe even exploring a little background information on the city of Winston-Salem. To try and figure out why they think they are witches, warlocks, vampires, or if they really are.  

Another community, that I must give Ali credit for was a Nudist colony. In the town we live in, there is a Nudist colony. I think it would be interesting to explore the reasoning and habits of these people. The history of how such a bizarre thing started, or even how it’s not illegal.  Along with the nudist colony, another possible community could perhaps be the community of reality shows. I’m not sure if this community makes sense, but I feel that it is something someone could explore behind. To try and find the factuality behind them, and figure out if they are really staged or not. This community may be difficult to explore, because you would have to break it down part by part. But, it was just another possibility.
