For one of my interviews, I decided to focus on someone who was in my sorority before me and already went thorough everything that I am going through. When trying to decided who I would interview I decided to pick someone who was in Tri Delta during the year 2002. The reason I picked this is because I talked about one of the huge fund raising project that took place during that time. So Kyle being a part of Tri Delta from the year 2001 was perfect. She definitely enlightened my research because instead of just reading about the million dollar teen room that Tri Delta donated I actually got to see what it was like being a part of that project. She didn’t point me to other sources, but she did provide a lot of information herself. Probably the most captivating thing she told me was how it felt to finish a four year project in 3 years and how accomplished she felt after everything they had done. No, she did not change my point of view on the subject, but she did show me things in a little different light from what I’m doing now to what she was doing. I understood everything she was saying because she definitely went into a lot of details and tried to explain everything to the best of her ability. She contributed to the knowledge of the subject, by not only telling me her experience but also by showing me the continued hard work of Tri Delta. I want to incorporate this in my paper at the part where I talk about St. Jude. I think it will help to not just be saying the information, but to actually be showing what exactly was going on.
