Colt 45
During my eleventh grade year, my best friend and I would jam out to Colt 45 by the infamous Afroman. We knew nothing of what he was really singing about, but found the lyrics to be hysterical. They were provocative, but we always managed to laugh at them. As soon as I hear this song, memories fly back to this time period. We would listen to this song any time we entered the car to go somewhere. I remember driving down the highway to Ft. Lauderdale beach with the windows down blaring the song. People always knew what song it was when we passed, laughing with us. At times we would put the song on repeat and sing it over and over again. Many kids actually laughed at the fact that we knew the whole song. In a sense, it became our anthem. To this day we jam out and went to go see him in concert. That was a laugh in itself.
