My family community

An important community in my life that I am a part of is my family. My family consists of not only my mom, dad, and sister, but also of close friends that we have known for many years that we all consider each other family know. Family is a very important part of my life and I am very family oriented. Without this community in my life, I would lost. Each member has a unique role and quality that they bring to everyone. In my family at home, my mother is always the one worrying about things and making sure things get done. She always reminds me things when I need to do them even though I already know I need to, but it’s only to make it gets done. My father is man of the family, Everything must go through him before a final decision is made. When my sister and I were younger and wanted to ever go out, we would ask our mother first and then we would have to ask our dad for the final answer before we could do anything. They both help to raise me to the person I am today and have wished nothing less than the best for me. My sister is different from me in so many ways. She is more of the athletic type while I’m more of the lazy, chill kind of person. But regardless of what the differences may be, we’re always there for each other for support and to have someone to talk to. Whenever we need to someone to vent to whether it’s drama with friends, or boy troubles we always have the other’s back. Other members that I also consider to be family are family friends that have grown to be my uncles, aunts and cousins. Some of them have been there for me since I was a baby and others have been there for me over the last few years. My uncles all look out for me as if I was there daughter as well, making sure I am safe and that boys know how to act with me. My aunts are there for me when I need more advice from a female’s point of view other than my mom’s. And my cousins have helped me get by in school, always keeping there eye on me making sure I know the right people. With this family, we all always have family get-togethers and take vacations together and everything. Every summer we always go to a baseball game and also go camping. Like one summer we went to Tampa to watch one. It was so much fun, with everyone laughing and just spending the quality time together. We all look out for one another and to me it’s important to have bonds like that in your life.
