My BFF's

There are were a few different communities that I was thinking about for this blog, but ultimately it came down to my community of friends. I had a ton of friends in high school and I spread myself out pretty well and would spend a little time with all of them, but i spent the most time with my circle of best friends and I loved every minute with them. Like every other circle of friends we each had our own role. There were 6 of us; Megan, Meredith, Maggie, Emma, Morgan and myself. We all started off as just small groups of two best friends...Morgan and I were best friends and never seen apart and the same with Megan and Emma. Megan and I met freshman year in spanish class and started hanging out a lot and then we had a group of 4. Over the next year or so we adopted Meredith and Maggie to complete our circle. Megan and I were the goofy ones. We knew all the stupid movie quotes and exactly when to say them and kept ourselves and the other girls laughing. We always came up with the adventures or nightly plans but because we were a little less serious we never put them into play. That is where Maggie and Morgan came in. They were the planners and do-ers. We would invent a crazy plan with absolutely no details or any idea of how to go about making our plan work and Maggie and Morgan would google their brains out and set everything up and then print and bind it all up. Whenever we got a text from them it was always reminding us of something. Maggie was definitely the "mom" though, she would always randomly bring in home baked cookies or have us all over and make a cake or something. Meredith was always down for whatever we did, and she is ridiculously outspoken. She is the loudest person you will ever meet and we love her for it. When we had sleepovers we had to stay in an area of the house where we wouldnt wake up our parents because once she arrived there was no such thing as quiet. Last but not least is Emma. Emma was the shy one, and if she wasnt always with us you probably wouldnt know she was there. The poor girl took the brunt of most of our jokes but she was always a good sport. It sounds terrible but we all loved her, she was the nicest person ever and the smartest in the group for sure. She has never said a bad word about anyone. It was a very sad day when we all had to split up for college but i see every single one of them when I come home. Megan and Meredith are roommates at UF and Maggie is just down the street from them. Emma went to Appalachian state to play volleyball and Morgan went to the University of Alabama. When we all get together it feels like we never even left.
