The definition of Music

Music- an art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color (Dictionary.com). Songs are meant to persuade the listener to make a connection with their life; the song Gravity by John Mayer, remembers me of my ex-girlfriend, not because I was madly deeply in love with her, just because she was a dancer and one of her solo’s was to the song. Even though it is just a four minute and five second song it reminds me of her, not only of her dancing, but at times, her kiss and warmth.
